Precious Gems Girls Empowerment Group is an organization dedicated to preparing girls for real life experiences and opportunities. Through successful peer to peer mentoring and adult-child mentoring the girls in our group will learn from other girls and women that were just like them once. By hearing each other’s stories the girls in our group will get a sense of where they are right now and where they can go, by way of education and excelling in the classroom. Science, technology, engineering, and math or STEM is a very important field to pursue and while that career path may not fit everyone, exposure for our young girls at an early age can help change the way they look at these subjects in school.
